I understand the interior of the pipe is smooth so no concern there. if you use the same type of sink, two additional nuts will be required (not included with the kit.) Under the kitchen sink they are using a Snappy Trap setup without using all the Snappy Trap components. My laundry room sink is a double basin, with a 1.5 inch threaded drain connection in each extrusion. The hoses have a little bit of flex, but not much. I had to add a few parts to get it to work correctly. I used this kit to plumb a laundry room sink.
